At its Carquefou premises and in the region, the Frac puts the emphasis on a personnalised reception of the public, welcomed by specialist contemporary art mediators. For each exhibi
tion and during the Ateliers, a cultural action programme (talks, contact with the artists, round table discussions...) touches a very varied public (adults, pupils and students, associations, leisure centres...). Every year, the Frac leads activities which involve over 6000 schoolchildren and 500 teachers. The Frac des Pays de la Loire received around 50 000 visitors in 1998 and 1999.
